School Event

On August 4th 2011, we had a school event, at The Art Intitute of Tampa. In the event Interior Designers, teachers, and students gathered to honor and thank the senators and chairmen that fought for our profession in Tallahassee. In the event we awarded the senator and chairmen for fighting our right to keep our licence to practice Interior Design. Our licence requires education, work experience, and to pass the NCIDQ exam.

To some of you this may not be of importance, but to me it is. I really cant imagine how someone could think that any random person can do what an Interior Designer does, not mention without education, without experience, and to top it all off without a licence. Not only is this an endangerment to our society, but a waste of money to all of us students that are paying thousands of dollars for this title.

I really just want to thank all those that are supporting us in favor to keeping our licence. I really hope that through these events, and blogs  that we can gather more people to know and appreciate the importance of what the title of Interior Design really is.
